Today was event number 52 which we celebrated as our first birthday. Although Leabridges started in 2019 due to COVID-19 lockdowns etc it’s taken a while to get here. 31 families turn out today, because they wanted to not because they new there was cake at the end 🤣 I was tail walker today and Rebecca was Timekeeper. It was perfect conditions today, cool and dry so everyone made their way around the course quite well today. After giving in their finish token and recording their times, they all lined up amazingly orderly and quiet awaiting their choice of cakes made by our amazing Volunteers. Adult we’re also able to have a hot drink as well. Thank you so much to the Run Directors who tirelessly give up their time to ensure the lovely Juniors have a Parkrun to attend EVERY Sunday. 281 finishers over this year have benefited from this glorious event
