Report written by Alice Dalrymple
Tonight, GG Bristol had an a-peel-ing task to do. Hannah More primary school needed our help clearing bad apples and harvesting the good ones. Bad ones in the barrow and if they're great, put them in the crate!
We didn't have any apples and pears but we did have ladders which meant we could reach the cream of the crop at the tops of the tree. The rest of us were clearing the ground and surely all that squatting must have strengthened our core?!
Many interesting methods for getting apples down were adopted and luckily no injuries else the whole evening would have crumbled.. Easy as pie, we got the apples cleared and sorted in no time and it was time to say toodle pip!
