We met up with Bekki to help sort the already lovely NHS allotment out, confident that the weatherman had been telling the truth about the day's forecast. Unfortunately, the skies did open and a downpour did descend upon us, but we were not disheartened! With shovel, rake and pitchfork in hand, we got to work with and without the rain to help level out the ground ready for the polytunnel to be installed at a later date. We also helped tackle them pesky brambles who had taken deep root within the ground. We walked away confident in our efforts and more than a little wet..
