This mornings dream vaccination team consisted of Mel, John, Paul and Sarah! The shift started before we were even ready and set the pace for the morning - it was non-stop in the church. Mel had a super busy time keeping track of patients and cleaning seats, she is definitely The "Wonder Walkie Talkie Woman"! Sarah was also in the church battling with the ear thermometers - which only work if they are warm enough. This proved tricky in a cold church! Sarah also found the uniqueness of peoples ears something of a revelation and at one point was unable to take a gentleman's temperature as she couldn't find his hole 🤣. Paul spent the first part of the morning in the waiting room but soon moved outside to direct cars. John spent the entire shift outside doing "church to back door". Both John and Paul obviously possess the super power of "anti-freezing" as this morning it was bitter, but these guys seem to stay warm! Sarah managed just over an hour outside with Paul before heading back in to defrost - but during this time was able to admire the awesome gardening work done by Paul, John and Judy earlier in the week 👍

Brilliant report Sarah. Made me giggle a lot and now I keep thinking about ear holes!
