2 runners collected waste food from local supermarkets to share at the community fridge in the library. This week there were lots of baguettes and a variety of green vegs to share, plus some bonus flowers.
This task supported
We rescue surplus food from supermarkets across the city and give it away to all via a publicly accessible fridge in Exeter Library in order to reduce food waste.
As above. We need volunteers to pick up surplus food from designated businesses and drop it off at the Community Fridge. Quantities of food can vary but we will aim to match individual volunteers to particular pick-ups. Pick-ups are usually in the morning and the fridge is open during library opening hours. We are primarily a sustainability initiative.

Exeter
The MMAA has around 100+ tenants on both sites combined. The Mincinglake site currently has no shared facilities, and we have been trying to move forward with a project to create a wildlife area, an amenity shed, and a seating area for social acitivites.
