Strong winds and bucketfuls of rain did not deter 3 GoodGymers from making their way to the Lifeboat Station to help SAS (Surfers Against Sewers) with their Autumn Beach Clean!
With gloves, litter pickers, reusable SAS bin bags and Judy's lovely pup Tess, we faced the winds and began picking up litter. There were the usual cigarette butts but also a lot of; wires, squished old cans, sea smoothed glass, plastic netting and Angela's squishy bear toy find!
We eventually handed in our findings and made our ways back home thoroughly soaked!

Don't know when I'll feel warm again - or when my shoes will ever be dry!!

This is part of our work to manage our churchyard in a more nature -friendly way, to increase biodiversity. The churchyard is often used by local dog walkers and is an oasis of green space in the area.
