Three of us enjoyed the late summer sunshine and stretched our legs while working at home! Vanessa made friends with lots of spiders while searching for litter in the bushes! One big bag of litter collected!

.... to my litter-picker!
It was a very high tide at Tipner this morning, but that's a bonus on a beach clean - less beach! It meant Lisa, Andy and I could make a visible difference and remove the obvious pieces of coloured plastic and the nylon fishing line.
Lisa dragged the dumped gaming chair to the nearest bin, so that hopefully it'll get collected.
45 minutes later, two sacks of litter collected, and then on with our Sunday plans.

We were very lucky - the sun shone and the showers held off for our lunchtime litterpick!
In half an hour we made a big difference to this little empty space and filled up 2 big bags.

This time of year it's more about garden maintenance and today we needed to give the roses some attention. Dead-heading and making room for the buds still to bloom, there is still a beautiful scent in the air where the roses grow. There were a few scratched arms, but well worth the effort. After a cuppa and biscuits we were on our way.

After a last minute change of plan after our Task Holder had to cancel, we celebrated Dave's 500th Good Deed!
It was also a perfect introductory task for Ranjitha, who joined us for her second Good Deed this evening. She even found the obligatory pair of pants behind a bench!
After half an hour of picking up packaging and pruning bushes of sweet papers, we headed over to the Brewers Tap for a celebratory drink.
Nice work, everyone!
