We finished trimming perimeter grass around the rose beds, hoeing and redistributing earth. Weeding some more areas to keep on top of it, and sweeping pathways to make it look more attractive to Park visitors. We had an occasional light drizzle, but saw some sunshine to. Friday 11th April

Written by Jane

One goodgymer joined 5 Friends of Langstone Harbour volunteers and the Countrside Officer to do a mega litterpick!

In just 3 hours we cleared a stretch of Milton Common and filled 15 bin bags with litter and fly tipping including a TV, 2 signs, a witches hat, a fire extinguisher, a bench, a trolley and 16 shoes!

We also had the time to identify 4 species of butterflies and 6 birds.
