Mr & Mrs J live about a mile from me, and are on a regular walking route from my house, onto Runcorn Hill.

A footpath runs alongside their driveway, where they had set a garden bench. Unfortunately, the bench had fallen into disrepair, and Mr & Mrs J were not in a position to move it, as it was quite heavy.

They were concerned as it was in an unsafe condition, but easily accessible to people walking past.

Having another GG'er , my son Liam at home, I was happy to arrange for the bench to be removed.

Liam and I walked the mile or so to pick up the cast iron and wood bench, taking it away to be restored to be used again.
