Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

It was a Halloween howler for our naughty nine runners tonight but not until we'd grabbed a photo with the awesome Emily and her black GoodGym t-shirt. Then we donned our bat and pumpkin reflective patches, set head torches to stun and followed our devil-horned leader Steph in to the darkness.

The Holloway hill gave our legs and lungs a proper warm-up ready to tackle one hell of a quad workout.

118 steps later and we arrived at Alexandra Park for tonight's terrible task - litter picking!

We split up in to teams and braved the dark and raced to see which trio could collect the most rubbish.

Emily, Steve & Joe mostly chatted or told ghost stories by torchlight judging by their half full black bag!

John, Irena & Jaxx scoured the perimeter for scraps and secured second place for their efforts.

But the self appointed winners were Pascale, Rob & Steph (after tapping in to their prior knowledge of the best undergrowth to rummaging in for rubbish!)

The mist rolled in giving an apt eeriness to our descent back to base which ended with a hellish set of squats (Thanks Rob!)

During cool-down Jaxx took us from Monster Mash to Birthday Bash and led us in a rendition of 'Happy Birthday' in honour of GoodGym Bath turning one this week.

We're holding our bound-to-be-brilliant birthday celebration this Thursday 27th. Meal – Bombay Lounge, 6pm Pub Quiz – The Boater, 7.30pm https://www.goodgym.org/parties/goodgym-bath-s-1st-birthday

So sign in and sign up to let our super social secretary Rosie know you're coming and we'll see you there

Thank you Pascale a Great run report and Smasher of a pun
