On a very wet and windy afternoon, Judy (and Tess the dog), Louisa and Val set off on a very muddy walk to complete a litter pick. It was so windy hanging on to the bin bags was a challenge. We quickly filled one bin liner with cans, glass and plastic bottles, and a bag or two or general litter. Another bin liner was made ready only to be whipped out of my hand by the gusty wind and got itself stuck to some bramble. Louisa did a great job recovering it, and we started to fill it with more recycling, only to find that there was a big hole in the bottom! Thankfully Judy had more bags at the ready! The amount of litter left us all feeling like we had hardly touched the surface. Judy remarked that she was 'very dissatisfied'. Another task will be arranged, when the weather is less windy!
