Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by StephDucat
After a successful 1st afternoon mission, Steph headed off running to his next mission of the afternoon. Arrived at Ms M, where I was greeted by her son and another dog who was not barking and very friendly. Ms M with her strong and beautiful geordie accent gave details of the task for the afternoon which Steph noticed when getting there. The privet plant in front decided to join a band and wanted to branch out as mush as possible. That means branching out to the pavement, to the next door neighbors garden and taking over the inside of the front garden. Ms M said to do as mush as possible as the plant has really over grown and needed to be trimmed and made smaller. It was not required to get the top off as too high and no ladder to get that high. After 80 minutes, Steph cleared space on the pavement, the entrance to the garden, the neighbors garden and cleared a path in the garden towards the neighbors as the priver had decided it was branch territory and not a human passage. A massive bin was filled then a massive pile bigger than the bin was erected beside it with privet plant branches and leaves. As it was time to finish and the rain started to come down, Ms M thanked Steph several times as was really surprised by the result and wanted once again to give me cash which once again mentioned that not required as volunteering, but could go online and donate to Goodgym.
