Adam, Jess and Shelia rose with the sun to support Maidenhead Rotary team with the Boundary Walk.

They met at base camp and helped put up gazebos, stick up signs, get water and electricity on site and sort out the refreshments. Once all that was done it was on to marshalling the car park. We had a plan to fill up from the back first and ensure those just dropping off could navigate swiftly round the car park. It was soon full up and the team had to start sending drivers to the car park up the road...this was met with differing responses!

At 9.00am the walk officially started and swathes of gathered walkers set off to beat the boundaries and navigate themselves along the route. Approximately 400 walkers had registered for the event so getting everyone signed in and on their way was a huge task.

Overall the morning went very smoothly and we wished a good day to those heading out. We hope the weather holds and they have a fun day out.
