Clearing paths to clear the mind!
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Urban Green Newcastle in Newcastle.

- Led by Dan Laws
GoodGym Newcastle took a trip to St. Lawrence park this morning to help Urban Green Newcastle with their maintenance of the park. We were tasked with clearing the paths throughout the park of all of the overgrowing brambles and nettles to help make all of the entrances more accessible and enjoyable for anyone visiting!
We split up into pairs and got working at various entrances to the park, and you can see in the photos just how much we cleared from the pathways. A big thank you to ranger Mike for providing not only a great range of tools and advice but also for the coffee and biscuits at the half time break! It was also so good to welcome Lauren back to GoodGym Newcastle today after a few months away, we hope you enjoyed your morning!
I'm sure everyone involved today will be looking forward to helping out again in future at both St. Lawrence Park and with Urban Green Newcastle again!
