This was one of 3 group runs we had organised this evening and the first one since early December when we went into another lockdown. Eli, Jo, Rachel, Rosie and Sinéad met at South Parade pier and waited for Lynn to arrive from her shift at the vaccination clinic. Lynn was slightly delayed as they were waiting for some final patients to arrive so we met her on our route. This was Eli’s first time wearing the Goodgym T-shirt for a run and not a community mission so it was great to get it tested. We headed towards Old Portsmouth along the promenade keeping our distance from people walking in the early evening. We saw Lynn near the common and we all ran towards the Garrison church before turning and heading back. A lovely evening and great to be able to meet up with fellow Goodgymers and head out for a run.
