The 9am train chugged by as we were all doing our pre run warm up which means it was a little after 9am when 14 children started on their Parkrun journey. Number we’re down this week, the rain last evening put some off I think. We had some Parkrun tourists today on their family holiday, 3children including one young lady who didn’t have her trainers so ran in her Crocs! What a hero she was, the grass was very wet how she didn’t slip I don’t know. They thought our course was a little harder than their normal one but thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was Timekeeper and Beks marshalled down the bottom of the hill, that means an extra little run to get to your post. Same time next week when it’ll be Leabridges 1 year anniversary
