An ongoing task at Mrs D's has already had some favourable mentions, amongst the neighbours in her little community of bungalows.

A friend and neighbour had taken photographs, so that Mrs D could see the progress made so far. She was very pleased, and is hoping that, in the spring, she may be able to step outside her front door, to take a look for herself 🤞

In the meantime, she had a lot of plant pots, plastic and ceramic, that needed sorting out and removing.

I, once more, called upon the services of fellow GG'er, and son, Liam, to help with the heavy/awkward lifting and shifting. 😁

Before we could start to remove the anything, each pot and container had to be shown to Mrs D, who would make a decision as to whether she would keep, or donate the item. To conform with safe, social distancing measures, and as Mrs D is confined to her home, this was conducted through the window.

Each pot was held up, inspected, and a decision made as to its fate. Mrs D is quite excited to think that her pots will be bringing enjoyment to local schoolchildren.

As can be seen from the photographs, our four legged friends accompanied us once more, as Mrs D was keen to 'meet' them. Shadow took his duties very seriously, and inspected every pot...twice!

The space outside Mrs D's front door is now almost clear, making it much safer for her in the future, but also for her carers, as they visit throughout the day.
