A nice wee bunch tonight for some speedy weeding at TNG Youth Centre! π±π
First up, me, Cat and Frances (who made the trek from Lambeth!) met at the Bridge House and got somewhat diverted when our desired gate out of the park was locked :( It wasn't a problem though as we snuck through the car park and back on course via the deeeelightful Charleville Circus.
We then met Carla and Sam at TNG (The New Generation) Youth Centre. After a quick discussion of our fave Disney films, we met Linda who showed us where we were going to weed and gave us a roll of bin bags.
Since we'd last been, the weeds had shot up but fortunately most of them were fairly loosely embedded in the gravel. We split up into a couple of groups to tackle various bits. Carla blitzed a huge bunch of weeds and brambles whilst Cat and Sam pulled out the bindweed from the gate and Frances and I were pulling up weeds between the paving slabs.
In the end we had 6 bags of weeds and a huge pile of brambles which were a bit gnarly and would've shredded the bin bags to bits...
Weed done goood π₯
Nice one gang βοΈ
