A few good members came together to support the phoenix cinema. This is an treasured charitable cinema unique in London for its age and engagement in the local community. We were looking to support it by distributing leaflets and to help it compete against the multiplexes . We warmed up in Cherry Tree Wood on a beautiful summers evening and were recorded quite dramatically by a drone that buzzed our heads. After being divebombed we decided to head for quieter activities in the side streets of East Finchley delivering leaflets. Well done to Moya for delivering her leaflet to a local popstar! Halfway through we stopped to do a set of sprints up a narrow footpath with a steep ascent. We soon finished and returned to the park to do some relaxing stretches in the now setting sun.
