Perfect weather for some gardening at Abbey Gardens yesterday. The unusually low turnout a bit perplexing, as just Kev and I jogged over to the gardens. We then slowly became five as the artillery came through, in Eugene(!), Shaz and Paul. Great to have our man from Sheff back in town, brilliant to catch up as he gallivants around town competing at the World Croquet Championships.
We stripped back a couple of beds from strawberries, thistle and various other uninvited plants, clearing the way for some planned growth. With some new project managers there, the future of AG is looking bright. On the way back I buckled to the lack of interval session desire, but that's not a precedent guys, merely an anomaly. Culminated the eve with some cold hydration canal-side and veering topics of conversation.
Next week we're heading back to Abbey Gardens, a rarity to double up in a week, but it works! Sign up here for some Wednesday smiles and miles.
Till then,
