Tonight's heroic team helped Holgate Community garden sort, shovel and bag rat infested compost. Despite a vastly reduced Goodgym team due to people dropping out, defecting to the other task and not being able to find us, the four remaining Goodgymers did a fantastic job! Thankfully the compost was in a much better state than when we experienced it in February and a couple of garden members came and helped. The remaining live rat scarpered as soon as we arrived and was seen running away along the wall. Interesting finds in the compost bins included a mummified rat, carpet, a paint brush, a trowel, a clothes peg, a sock and a very middle class quantity of avocado stones. We managed to finish clearing the bins in just over an hour.
