It was damp underfoot but it takes more than a spit of rain to dampen the spirits of the famous five GoodGym parkrunners’ out on the hill at Ashton Court.

Big Kudos to Emma and Fiona for making their debut parkrun appearance. Both recording super times, Fiona was the first GoodGym-er to finish with a time of 28:18 and Emma hot on her heels with 28:54.

Well done to both and only 49 more runs until they join the 50 parkrun club.

Extra respect to both for then hotfooting it over to the Saturday GG task at Bramble Hill.

Richard was our third runner home on his first visit to Ashton Court and he smiled all the way. Yes this guy smiled for the camera while he was running up that hill, now, that’s proper parkrun/GoodGym love on a Saturday morning.

Deb and Paul both took a nice slow run today, keeping a bit in reserve for the 10K MoRun directly after parkrun (the MoRun was pretty much the Spooktacular course, twice).

After a great morning run, barcodes successfully scanned and a few last minute stretches, we bid farewell to AC parkrun.

Our thoughts as we glanced back up at the route were of our hard core GoodGym team smashing the trail in the Gower.

We rocked Ashton Court in our red t-shirts this morning, I think even Enid Blyton would have been proud of the five of us!
