On the first day of Queen's Jubilee weekend, Kenny has forgone watching the celebrations on the TV and cycled from Camden to the borough of Westminster to do good together with Kash who was already in the area after completing her first mission of the day.

The task was to clear the back garden of Mrs S's house from menacing brambles. Mrs S was glad to see the GoodGymers wearing long bottoms and long sleeves - especially after Kash showed up for the bramble bashing in shorts the last time. The garden was recently partially cleared of thorns by GoodGym but the larger part of the backyard was still an unpenetrable jungle.

Kenny boldly set off to cut through the thicket while Kash remained at the back, filling the waste bags with the "harvest". Cutting the brambles over our heads and pulling the creepers off the walls resulted in clouds of pollen that gave Kenny a serious cough. "You have unleashed the gods of my garden", Mrs S said. The gods had to back off when Kenny unleashed his inner Bramble Bashing Beast and cleared the half of the garden in no time.

Kash was barely keeping up with Kenny when packing the bags. After about an hour of suffering in silence, she mentioned she should have invested in some thicker gardening gloves as the thorns were biting her through her gloves, slowing her down. Mrs S came to the rescue and gave Kash her pro gloves! The extra protection speeded up the process, and about eight waste bags were soon full.

Ninety minutes felt like a moment and Mrs S had to firmly announce she is going to reclaim her secateurs as Kenny didn't want to quit until he trimmed the tree blocking the sunlight from the window of Mrs S's neighbour's flat.

The GoodGym jungle expedition uncovered artefacts such as plenty of plant pots, a coffee mug, a net, a tire, a hand of some figurine, and a whole functional rotary airer. Mrs S was sure we are going to find a football too but we haven't cut through the thicket far enough yet.

We finished off by swiping the steps to ensure Mrs S's, safety. Mrs S was delighted with the result. She was also very curious about Kenny's foldable bike, so he gave her a little presentation on how to unfold it by the end of the mission.
