What a lovely afternoon spent wreath making at the Cathedral, using foraged materials from the Live and Dye garden and the food union allotments.
We came together to create the perfect wreath while maneuvering through a forest of fellow crafters, all armed with an unwavering determination to deck their halls with botanical beauty.
You had to be quick! Wreath enthusiasts were engaged in a friendly foliage frenzy, each vying for the last sprig of holly or the plumpest pine cone, even scrambling around for dried orange under the tables! Wreath-making seemed to have turned into an unexpected sport!
Jackie managed to finish hers and went on to make a lantern. Sharon and James made good progress but due to the lack of foliage left, decided to forage further near to home to add to their creations. I was very happy in the end with mine and it was a most enjoyable activity.
