Another Monday and this week the team team came together to lend a helping hand in the garden of St. Botolph's Church, Despite the rain starting as soon as we arrived, the team remained set to work enthusiastically.
John responding to a request from Sue, wasted no time and delved straight into the task of digging out tree roots with energy and determination finishing with a top layer of organically grown soil straight from the compost heap!
Meanwhile, Daisy and Barbara rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into the weeding of the rockery, clearing away unwanted weeds and brambles
Duncan and Paultook on the task of digging, ensuring that the garden's groundwork was prepared for planting some small shrubs ( which they also did)
Gillybean known for her green thumb, worked her usual magic with skillful pruning, transforming overgrown foliage so that the shrubs looked less wild and way more manageable.
A delightful surprise came in the form of Jay and Katharine, who arrived with the youngest member of the Worthing and Brighton GoodGymers family, 5-week-old baby Olivia. The adorable addition brought smiles and warmth to the entire team.
Despite the weather challenges, the GoodGymers pushed on through to complete another great visit. Rik, church warden always makes a point of messaging to say thank you and tonight was no exception
Thanks for this evening- great job as always and much appreciated
Well done team :)
Next Monday we are having a GG Worthing socila - Meet at parkrun finish with your chosen food and drink. We will aim to BBQ which I will bring. If the weather is bad we will head to the Egremont instead. All welcome.

I love the concept of getting physically and mentally fit whilst combining it with helping others. I run most days.

Thanks Gill - You always are amazing with what you achieve x
Loving the GoodGym hoodies. Wish we had some here in Luton as it's pretty chilly out there now.
