Golden Opportunity
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.
- Saturday, 20th of August 2022
- Led by David Mansfield
Three Goodgym runners met at the Luton Wardown parkrun finish, all warmed up and ready for this morning's task at nearby Stockingstone meadow. Goldenrod has grown there unchecked and become invasive, so our uprooting continued with some considerable gains made and a satisfactory look back at the ground cleared to make way for a greater diversity of plant species. Just a few more hours and pairs of hands needed to see the back of the field of yellow. No blisters were formed during the performing of this task.
