6 GG Yorkies met Jenny from the council at Rawcliffe Country Park to tackle some trees, brambles and other miscellaneous items that were overhanging the kids play park.

We failed our health and safety check due to too many spiky things

Jenny was not wrong about the spiky things. Brambles and other spiky trees were breaking through the fence and attacking us.

Our first task was to remove the traffic cone that had been thrown high up into the trees. Legendary Leanne was on the ball with the idea to get two of the insanely huge litter pickers (that we had previously used on a task there and realised they were pretty useless for litter picking... well at least we've found another use for them).

We had a GG newbie join us this evening, Sarah. Sarah got stuck straight in tackling the brambles and even made friends with resident GG dog Feargal by throwing him sticks for him!

We ended the task with a little play and photo op on the play park - obviously.
