As the first half of a Hackney Marshes double this morning, some of the Hackney crew were joined by fellow Goodgymmers from nearby boroughs to have a lovely 5k stroll around the Marshes, otherwise known as ParkRun! With Patrick & Peter providing assistance with the tokens (handing out & scanning) the rest flew round the slightly slippery course to come back to loud goodgym cheers.

A little overview of the achievements known sofar, in random order: Jack set a new Hackney PB, as did Frances & Siobhan, Rich broke 17 mins (finally again?), Eva managed a perfectly round 30:00, for Tom & Frances it was the fastest time of the year, Ros did her first Hackney Marshes ParkRun and for Ivan & Mireille it was their first ever ParkRun! needless to say they both had a wonderful PB ;-) Apologies for any achievements I have missed scanning through the results & the chat, please let me know of any and i will update the report. Also, I did try and list names to make sure to tag everyone, but I am bound to mix things up somewhere, so please do correct me!

Those who could did move on to part two - helping the Tree Musketeers just across the car park, a mission report can be found here

With every last Saturday of the month being a the Tree Musketeers day, perhaps this is a format to be repeated in the near future? let me know how you guys feel about making it a monthly Hackney Marshes ParkRun / Tree Musketeers adventure and we'll see what we can do!
