Nine tough Goodgym runners braved the winter to support Northway Gardens who were preparing the gardens for a visiting MP. We gathered at the Phoenix to number and warm up. Abi offered to back mark and Damian lead the way. We moved quickly in a small group and decided that we had time to run through the local park to avoid running by the side of the A1. Although dark we had a few park lights and the moon popped out to guide our way. It was serene! We met with Brian and with his usual efficiency he guided us through our tasks. One group started clearing leaves from the path and the other emptying home grown compost onto the flower beds. Brian in a almost arthurian way challenged us to remove a stump but it was beyond our strength. (no magisterial anointment!)See photos of Edand Abdul giving it a go! We helped Brian pack away and then headed back through the park stopping to do some aerobics to music and play on the outdoor gym. It was a goodgym! .... It finished us off! Then back thought the streets to the phoenix for a warm down.

Thanks for coming and doing good!
