2 GG Yorkies ran to help paint a shed with some Cuprinol. Ellie and Leanne were shown into Mr B’s garden (which Ellie declared as the ‘prettiest GG garden of York’) and it was clear that Mr B was an excellent gardener with a clear eye for design. Ellie went off for a brief nosey around whilst Leanne got the instructions from Mr B.

The shed was already mostly painted with Cuprinol and it was just the high areas and a bit near the door which needed finishing. Leanne was quick up the ladder, balancing the paint pot on top. However, it wasn’t long before she knocked the stirring stick out of the pot and splattered green paint down her leg.

Ellie too got coated with paint. Painting on the bottom always puts you at risk of errant splatters from above, but Mr B had requested an extra thick coat of paint so it was also dripping on Ellie! Leanne manoeuvred the steps to get to the hard to reach bits whilst Ellie started giving the lower levels (and herself) a second coating as the wood wasn’t looking particularly green.

Soon the job was done, and we tidied everything up, moved some pots around and enjoyed a glass of juice before bidding thanks and farewell to Mr B.
