Close-knit clan for this week's playground graft, a gorgeous but wintry day led to a brisk and high definition sky in the evening. We unveiled the award for our winning Newham 7 photo, a brand spanking new 18 mega pixel underwater camera. Just need to get some rechargeable batteries and we'll catch action shots on terra firma and hopefully a couple of aquatic ones , will require some fresh thought here. Suggestions welcome!
Random weekly question via Siobhan this week, "Your favourite childhood tv show?" An excellent question, however only recall a few (didn't know most of them, quite age specific!): Aquila, Mutley Racers, Going Round The Twist, Jonny Bravo, Power Rangers and Ready Steady Cook. Apparently we have two Ainsley fans at GGN, we'll have to set up a head to head mastermind specialising in Mr Harriet.
An easy 1.5 miles later and we were at destination, turning over sand, clearing grass and cutting back a tree for the imminent arrival of paddle boards - what a cool place to be a kid, eh? Quite a few of us rolled back the years and had a zoom down the new and improved zip wire, how many of your colleagues were doing the same last night?! As always, one of our more physical hands on tasks. But we weren't finished just yet. 4 x 40s, 4 x 20s out and back runs - and you guys looked bloody resplendent out there.Form on point. Some isometric invigoraters to finish, squat hold, plank, lunge hold. Syncing all those units of muscle together, for a good workout and to enhance muscular awareness.
Next week we go to Cody Dock, hoping for more spring weather then, as it's glorious under the light. Sign up here
See loads of you this Saturday morn, hackney marshes parkrun in our targets and a massive breakfast to finish.
