Report written by Brighton runner
Having enjoyed a number of trail runs on the East Side of Brighton, we ventured to the West Side of the city starting our run in Hove Park.
Making our way through all the other Park people (mostly little people enjoying the play park and tiny doggos!) we climbed our way up towards Dyke Road. This route would lead all the way to Devils Dyke and the South Downs Way (a route for another time) Our run gave us views across the Downs spotting Trueligh Hill and Jack and Jill windmills.
Before getting to the top of the Downs we turned back down towards the sea heading towards Foredown Tower and a popular horse route. There may have been a missed turn adding 2 km (😳) to the whole run, but thanks to Sherman's navigation skills, we made it to the pub!
