Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Sarah
6 Goodgymmers met at B-inspired Food Share, todays task was to sort their food containers for Food Share to keep track of what stock they have available. The team got straight into it decanting many peas tins into crates and dating each can easy peasy then we realised there were over 1000 cans. We made a start on the itinerary and shall continue on our next visit, it was great to see the container the Goodgymmers had built a few months ago, hap-pea to see it was still standing.
You needed to be a strong pea to lift the crates in and out of the container, luckily we had strong peas in this pod. Jen did a fabulous job of firstly sweeping up all the glass from the car park and then litter picking the area, great work. We were like peas in a pod chatting about who was running over the weekend, Stu is an escapea traveling to Wales to retain his title on the trails, good luck Stu!
After the teams hard work just me and Steve ran the park, Martin had already ran from home and running back. Me and Steve had a lovely run chatting about when he ran London Marathon super fast quite a few years ago and I'm sure talking made him run faster, by the end I was legging it down the park thinking this was going to be a gentle one!
Weldone Everyone all round, hope we have given the peas a new leese of life being ready to be given out, see you all again soon.
