14 hardy children (and their elders) turned out in the rain, all be it arriving with minutes to spare for the start, all trying to keep dry as best they could. At 9am low and behold the rain stopped and off they went. The sun tried to come out and by the end it did and you definitely needed sun glasses then, bright and chilly. We were very lucky.
