Junior Park Run 2km

This morning Wayne, James, Anne, & Victoria carried out volunteer duties at the Junior Park Run. Luckily the rain had stopped just before the run started. As well as official time keeper James ran the course before hand to make sure it was safe and that there where no hazards, he did a total of 5k testing out his new watch. The rest of us where positioned around the course cheering on the kids, there where definitely some future Olympians on show this morning. The organisers said before the start of the run they had to nearly cancel the run as they did not have enough volunteers which would have been a shame and where very grateful the the GG Team for their continuous support..
