Report written by Sharon
On a cold October night we stepped into the Old Poplar Bus Deport (Iron Mountain Storage unit) to help transform it in Crisis and Christmas 2020 logistics hub.
Tonight on a rainy Summer evening we made our last visit for the final sorting, boxing and wrapping the remaining items ready for them to be transported to the Crisis storage unit.
A reduction in numbers this evening due to some football match happening at Wembley think Taidgh and Chris were not only surprised some of us had signed up but turned up....I did tell them we had made a promise to come and help.
We split into three groups Paul and Hilary headed with Chris to the server room to remove the final bits of cabling. Claudia and Graham packed and boxed up the tool store. Kevin and I did the final clean down in the kitchen and packed away the extra large TV....sadly no signal to watch the game.
Items packed boxed and wrapped and we said our goodbyes.
Taidgh is extremely grateful to all the GG family who came and helped out over the last 8 months.
Now they just need to sort the warehouse for Crisis at Christmas 2021
