Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Michael
Our third Saturday in a row, returning to the lovely Samye Foundation in Canton. Determined, even with the weather, we were going to finish off this gazebo no matter what.
With a completed gazebo, and the soon to be installed heating, the cafe will now be able to seat up to 20 people safely with covid measures in place.
With paint pots, brushes and masks we all took to the finishing touches. They were the final fiddley bits that actually took more time than expected, but not to be deterred we put on some Christmas tunes and continued. Before we'd even realised it the hour had flown by and it was time to tidy up and leave, with a second task to get to there was no time to hang around today. But we will catch up with Lorraine again soon, I’m sure.
