It’s the final turfdown… oh wait…
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the St Nicks in York.

In classic GoodGym fashion we turned up expecting to be digging up the final section of turf to be met with well... a mountain of weeds.
Previously we had already removed turf from almost all of the triangle section. However, due to various factors outside of our control (think British weather and British politics), an array of different weeds moved in.
Task owner from St Nicks Jonathan stated, "I'm sure I did mention there might be a few weeds..." Understatement of the century.
The 6 of us got to work quickly, some more methodically than others. Martin was straight in there, fast and efficient. Leanne worked backwards, turning over the soil as she went beautifully. Max... well, Max is Max.
There was some confusion over which hand to pull the weeds up with - dominant or not? Let us know your preference in the comments.
Watch this space for more missions to continue the hard work converting this unused space into a beautiful wildflower area.
