Bath goodgymmers headed out bright and early to Bath skyline parkrun to volunteer or run. As it seems with a lot of things in Bath the parkrun is at the top of a large hill (it’s a 5km route on Claverton Down). Heading up through the thick mist this morning made it seem even more like we’d gone up into the clouds…
Meyrick volunteered as the tail walker, whilst others helped with the set-up and were marshals to ensure safety on the course. This helped make the run possible for 253 parkrunners.
I have really appreciated the return of parkrun after lockdown for both the fitness and the social interaction, and know for lots of others it’s something they look forward to every week too.
The sun eventually came out through the mist and afterwards we enjoyed a coffee nearby.
