Lynn and I made the most of the last hour of daylight to do a beach clean at the RNLI /Eastney ferry.

The litter theme here is fishing tackle: nylon fishing line, hooks, rope, pieces of metal and sooooo many cable ties! Goodness knows what the fishing and sailing community uses them for, but there are hundreds of them on the beach in this area.

It was a pleasant amble along the beach, filling our bags with lots of plastic and watching the light fade.
