A small team braved a chilly Sunday morning to support Keep Britain Tidy’s annual ‘Great British Spring Clean’.

Sadly, there’s always plenty of litter to be picked in SE7 and we tackled Anchor & Hope Lane so that those waiting for the 180/486/472 bus now have a vista of clean borders and a bit of the way round the corner along the Woolwich Road. No particularly interesting finds but we managed 8 bags between the four of us in just over an hour and hopefully Monday’s commuters will appreciate the difference!
