Five GoodGymers with civil engineer aspirations descended on Rowntree Park to help build a stone bridge over the stream.

Some work had already been done by other groups so the pipes were in place and five tonnes if stone had been placed on top. Jenny still had another four tonnes of stone to get down there so this was a task that was going to require some serious effort.

The team got straight to work (well the cafe is closed at that time of night) shovelling stone into wheelbarrows and then shuttling it down to the stream. Shovelling was hard with the stone compacted due to the rain but rapid progress was made.

One hour later, we had shifted half the stone and the bridge was looking much better. The same unfortunately cannot be said for Emma's tyre which did not survive the ride to the park but that's a job for another day.
