Lettuce rejoice in the garden
5 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Newham.

A windy run for Kevin and I as we headed to Bow.
Rosa and Paula had already been set to work by Kieran to weed and sort one of the polytunnels.
Rosa was getting a bit warm so joined me with restocking the bug hotel. The local fox has had fun pulling the twigs and leaves out of the hotel so we had fun restocking it and hopefully making it fox proof.
Kevin was tasked with potato planting and was joined by Paul. Once they had finished with the potato's they had to riddle one of the compost bins so it could be added to one of the planting beds.
And as Kieran has an abundance of winter lettuce we all came home with a few freshly picked leaves.
Double missions day for Rosa who headed off to Excel to help at the afternoon Covid vaccine session.
