GoodGym and Brompton Bicycles continued their partnership with a bright and sunny task helping out Cultivate London in South Acton.

The group was a little smaller than expected but well done to the 3 Brompton employees who were ready and willing to get involved down at the site!

It was great to have Andrew, Dan and Jonny with AA Yianny today and what we lacked in numbers we made up for in spirit and sheer lifting power.

We set off just after 9:30am for the 5 mile journey from the office over to Cultivate's current site in Acton where they are having to move (again) due to a development of new flats that is going up so there is a mammoth task of moving everything and also clearing away anything that isn't fit for the move.

We were met by Romina who herself was absolutely unstoppable, directing us on what needed to be moved to the skip collection area and what needed to stay, while dragging bits out for us.

After about 70 or so minutes of graft an enormous pile had been cleared away and lay ready for the digger to scoop up and put into the industrial skip.

Special mention to Andrew for keeping up the intensity despite a possible ankle sprain (hope that heals quickly), Dan for the amount of weight lifted on your own and to Jonny who not only kept a fast flow of rubbish moving but whose smiling demeanour made everyone's day!

Thanks everyone (and sorry spiders, worms, slugs, woodlice and other insects who were made temporarily homeless) we look forward to the next session together!
