Well what a fiasco, no task, the trainer turned up wet and almost late!

But... That didn't stop seven superb humans from joining me in Brent to do our own band of good and getting fit.

We welcomed Sasha to GoodGym for the first time and welcomed back Stephen from the wilds of South London!

The plan was to head down to Gladstone Park and combine some litter picking with some fitness.

We split into pairs and armed with bin bags and gloves started hunting down litter. I tried to help using a torch to spot bits but I'm not sure that many people were paying attention to me!

After a decent litter pick we stopped for our first bit of fitness... New for Brent it was Sally Squats! If you've never heard of them have a look here.

We then did some more litter picking before hitting the unassuminlgy named Park Side, more like Park Mountain. This is our wonderful 12% incline hill... perfect for some hill reps. We talk through some technique and then split into two groups and in quick succession smashed out three reps. On the final rep we all met at the top of the hill to admire the London skyline and take some group photos.

Now to head back to base, we carefully ran down the hil, back through the park, posed with all our rubbish and then headed for a quick blast home. With stretches done it was time for a well deserved beverage.

Great running everyone, apologies about the lack of task. Hopefully next week's task will come through!

Cheers,
Pritesh
