Living on the hedge
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 27th of May 2017
With an 11am mission under each of our belts already Jack, Victoria (aka Charlie Dimmock) and I made our way to the beautiful home and garden of Mr P and his wife.
The job to be done was trimming the hedges in the front and back gardens. In just over an hour (fuelled by a mean pot of tea) we had all of the hedges cut back and level. Armed with an assortment of brooms and a dustpan we also swept up all the debris and gave the garden tiles, paths and patio a quick once over with the broom too and gave the rose bush a tidy up.
A lovely afternoon to be out in the garden, and Mr P and Mrs M were so sweet and welcoming! It was a pleasure to spend an hour with them in their lovely home.
