May the Brute Force Be With You
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Sunday, 13th of March 2022
Two runners were called up to assemble a bed for Miss S. She had broken her old bed a few months ago and since then, has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
With all the parts neatly set out and clearly labelled, the two runners got to work, unphased by the thought of 150 bolts and thankful that the instructions were easy to follow.
As a seasoned GoodGymer, Sam had brought a few tools of her own which meant there was no need to share the single allen key provided and ensured the task went much quicker. She also provided the brute force and dogged determination to get the final fiddley, clippy things in place. Soon the bed was fully assembled and the mattress put in place.
Miss S was very grateful for the help and excited about getting a good night's sleep.
