So Sally can wait...

This week’s fitness challenge was an old classic – Sally Squats. I must admit, I’ve never done this before (and with good reason). I love a good squat as much as the next person, but that hold in the song, killed my quads (and my ass wasn't too impressed either!.but..at least its helped with my twerking....

If you’ve not heard of this challenge, it’s a remake of Moby’s Flower song…some crazy Crossfitter must of come up with this one!

When Moby sings Bring Sally Down – you go into squat

When Moby sings Bring Sally Up – you come back up

When he decides to add in a few more lyrics (cheers Moby...really appreciated that!) – you stay down in squat position till he ‘Brings Sally Up’ again!

GG's Squat Talent

30 squats in total in 3 mins 28 seconds. Think I’d prefer a drinking games of 30 shots in 3:28 and then maybe try the 30 squats?? You did have the additional option of replaying the song for round two...but I think one was enough for most of us.

Well done to everyone to participated in this one. A nice little pre/post run squat session for future running sessions (you have been warned). Nice to haveRoisin and Ruth back in the training game and great to see GGer's from other areas joining in. Well done to Super Jen for completing 5 rounds of this! And Sutyee...best photo goes to you...again!

Next week’s fitness session is another corker. It could be easy…it could be hard… all depends on the flip of the coin https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/flippin-coin-steady-eddy
