The Daily Telegraph voucher didn't work today in the Waitrose app. Ms F's policy is no voucher, no paper, so I was instructed not to buy today's news. Ms F will be kept in the dark about the latest updates on the riots and the war in the Middle East.
The no-luck trend with the fish counter continues. When I arrived, it was empty and unstaffed. Ms F commented that we can only laugh about the fish counter situation. She haven't shared her strategy for the upcoming weeks but experts expect that the breaded haddock will hold its position on the shopping lists.
Waitrose accepted Ms F's Charlie Bingham voucher, bringing the £6 price of the chicken korma ready meal to just £1. I doubt it will have long-term effects on Ms F's diet, unless she finds a source of more vouchers.
I found the Manilife smooth roasted peanut butter Ms F had thought may be not available in Waitrose. She will have her new favourite snack available when feeling peckish. Ms F shared a dietary advice for those taking iron supplements: those do not go well with cheese. Peanut butter instead of cheddar on a slice of Ryvita is the recommended remedy for cheese effect on the iron intake.
