Report written by Madhan
This is the sequel to the last week's mission. 1 of the artist(Kash) was down sick and another artist(Steph) had a busy schedule. So we hired two replacements, Daniel and Luis.
Luis and Michelle were so pumped up to do this task, that they arrived half an hour earlier and were helping out Romina by shifting and lifting stuff in wheelbarrows. Our double agent Emmanuella was already working alongside Cultivate before we caught up with Romina.
So Michelle, Luis, Daniel, and I got the tools from Romina and went to the same spot as before to start building the benches. We can already see some of the benches we built last week were spread across the school play area.
As Michelle and I had previous experience we split into two teams. Team Hounslow(Michelle & Luis) and Team Ealing(Daniel & Madhan). We started with the small benches, which Michelle and I hadn't assembled last week so that we have a fair game.
Soon the "Pros of small bench assembly", Sevan and Emmanuella, joined us. Like last week it became a 4-person team and a 2-person team.
Daniel brought his own tools. Talk about being prepared for a goodgym task
We got two hammers this time as we had to make do with a wrench last time. Soon Daniel and I assembled the small bench and started assembling the large bench. Michelle & co finished theirs in the meantime and opened the last box and met with a surprise.
THE LEGS ARE MISSING!! Legless... Legless should be the title... - Michelle.... Legolas... - Madhan
Emmanuella and Michelle made an attempt to steal the legs from the bench Daniel and I were assembling. Sevan, Michelle, and Emmanuella decided to move to the second part of the task, which was to paint the benches with wood protectors whereas Luis joined us in helping assemble the large bench. We had to undo a few steps as we assembled the legs in reverse. After some careful screwing with the Allen keys and Daniel's brilliant move of using his screwdriver instead of Allen keys made the job easy for us.
After painting all the benches with Wood protectors, we returned the tools to Romina. Romina was happy and decided to run around and gave everyone a slap on the hand.
