We welcomed Ivy this evening to her first taste of GG Newham.
Another week and more picnic benches to sand and paint ready for Lighting up the Lea
So many new people have discovered Cody Dock over recent months.
A quick light sand of the tables before we started painting....well most of the team did Rosa and I were busy seeing if we could spot the ISS pass over head.....we did manage to spot it as well as Saturn and Jupiter. We now have to wait until November to see the space station pass over again.
Sanding completed and it was cuprinol time...under the watchful gaze of Basia one of Cody Docks team....we must have been doing a brilliant job as she left us to make us a cup of tea and even found the biscuit tin. We learnt from last week that its definitely easier to start under the table then flip it to get the top completed. Powered by tea and biscuits we finished in double quick time before a gentle run back up the River Lea.
ps ISS photo was taken a few days ago when I was away in Dorset
